Salt tablets (NaCl, also known as sodium chloride) are used for regenerating ionites (ion exchange media) in softeners and water treatment systems. Potassium permanganate
A disinfectant used to regenerate properties of the catalytic media in central iron and manganese removal filters. It regenerates the surface layer of the medium containing manganese dioxide. Thanks to its oxidising properties, the agent supports operation of the iron removal filter and other water treatment systems regenerated with KMNO3 solution.
